Who we are
This website is run by KMS Space Ltd, trading as KMSpace, The Old Creamery, Feakle, Co. Clare, V94 KP6W, Ireland. Company number [CRO no.785510]. We’re responsible for any personal data collected through this site. If you have a question about your data, email hello@kmspace.ie.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, company and whatever you include in your message. We use it to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to manage that project. We don’t sell your data or use it for anything you wouldn’t expect.
Our website host also collects basic, anonymous information about how people use the site, such as pages visited, browser type and rough location. We use this to understand what’s working on the site. It doesn’t identify you.
Our legal basis
We use your contact details because we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or because you’ve asked us to take steps towards working together. We only use analytics cookies with your consent.
Who we share it with
Our website is hosted by Squarespace, and our email is managed through Google Workspace. Both process data on our behalf under contracts that protect it. Squarespace and Google are US-based, so some data may be stored outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, it’s protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We don’t share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to two years unless they turn into a working relationship, in which case we keep project records for as long as we need them for legal and accounting purposes, usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email hello@kmspace.ie and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores when you visit a website. We use two kinds:
Essential cookies, which keep the site working and secure. These are always on.
Analytics cookies, which tell us how people use the site. These are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
